This collection by documentary filmmaker, Nissim Mossek showcases the director’s critical body of work and features around 15 films made between the 1970s and 2010 in which he tackles a range of socio-political topics and themes. In his films, Mossek shows a particular fascination with Jerusalem of the 1960s and ‘70s and the social shifts and changes sweeping through it at the time. A prime example of that is Mossek’s Have you Heard About the Panthers? which, like his other works also shines a light on the individuals behind some of the country’s major historical processes and scenarios. The films were produced by Sharon Shaveet of Biblical Productions. The collection is the property of Nissim Mosek who has entrusted it in the hands of the Israeli Film Archive. The Archive is in charge of its maintenance and management, scientific preservation, and accessibility to the general public.
