Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion visits the Geva Studios in Givatayim, accompanied by his wife, Paula Ben-Gurion, as well as Deputy Defense Minister Shimon Peres and the Prime Ministers personal secretary, Yitzhak Navon. The visitors are welcomed by owners of Geva Studios Mordechai Navon and Yitzhak Agadati, and the Prime Minister watches clips of Geva journal newsreels that were taken during his recent visit to Europe, including footage of himself beside French President Charles de Gaulle. At the end of the private screening, the prime minister and studio chiefs are talking and it is reported that the prime minister is expressing interest in the film industry in Israel.
