The shooting of the film I Like Mike, produced by Geva Studios, progresses. For the purpose of shooting a party scene, director Frye and the cinematographer Nissim Leon improvise a technique: The cinematographer sits on a movable surface and the director rotates him so that he may be in circular motion without changing his overall position. Actors participating in this scene include Batya Lancet as the protagonists mother, Zeev Berlinsky, Ilana Rovina as the protagonist, Geula Nuni and Gideon Singer. The film was screened at the 1961 Cannes Film Festival.
