Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion lands at Orly Airport near Paris, France, and is welcomed in an official ceremony by Israeli ambassador to Paris, Walter Eitan, and French Prime Ministers representative Roger Frey. Prime Minister Ben-Gurion arrives at the French Foreign Ministry building, the Quai dOrsay where he meets with French Foreign Minister Maurice Couve de Murville. The prime minister then arrives at the Élysée Palace where he meets French President Charles de Gaulle, the two leaders pose for journalists and tour the garden, de Gaulle expresses his support for Israels stability and security. Later, the Prime Minister arrives at the Arc de Triomphe for a wreath-laying ceremony on the anonymous soldiers monument. Lastly, the Prime Minister meets with French Prime Minister Michel Debré at the Prime Minister residence Hôtel Matignon. At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Ben-Gurion answers questions by journalists and declaring his satisfaction with the meeting.
