The President Greets Christian Clergymen for the New Year

At the Presidents Residence in Jerusalem, President Yitzhak Ben-Zvi greets the leaders of the Christian communities in Israel on the occasion of the Christian New Year. With him are his wife Rachel Yanait Ben-Zvi, officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Religion, and many clerics. The ceremony is attended by 16 Christian leaders, including Archbishop George Hakim, leader of the Greek Catholic Church in the Middle East, Archbishop Isidoros of the Greek Orthodox Church, Bishop Pierre Giorgio Ciapro of the Latin Church, as well as representatives of the Russian, Anglican, Coptic and Armenian churches, among others.
