New Immigrants From North Africa Arrive in Israel

The ship Jerusalem arrives in Israel. Onboard are 130 immigrants from North Africa who were selected by representatives of the Jewish Agencys Immigration Absorption Department in Marseille transit camp, who are destined to settle in Eilat. The immigrants are boarding off the ship to Haifa port accompanied by the Jewish Agencys staff, and a delegation of residents of Eilat who came to welcome them. The immigrants are then being transported to IDF planes waiting to fly them to Eilat, and then board on the plane.
