The Jewish Agency for Israels Immigrant Absorption Department carries out its campaign Youth to the Village, which aims to integrate transit camp and immigrant settlement residents aged 12-17 in agricultural settlements. As a part of the campaign, agricultural training centers are established in the vicinity of transit camps. In addition, 40 kibbutz members go on a promotion campaign to encourage youth from the 16 major transit camps to move to agricultural communities. Youth work in a transit camp with their family, board a vehicle that takes them to an agricultural farm and work in a field.
