Chief of Staff and Defense Minister Visit Beit Shean Following a Shelling

Katyusha rockets were fired from Jordan on the town of Beit Shean, resulting in a girl being killed and nine civilians injured, among them five girls who were attending school. Chief of Staff Haim Bar Lev and Defense Minister Moshe Dayan visit the town. Schoolchildren descend to the shelter with their teachers. Shell marks appear on school walls and glass shards are scattered on the classrooms floor. Two days after the initial attack, Katyusha rockets were again fired at Beit Shean. 2 girls were killed. Injured children are seen hospitalized in HaEmek Hospital in Afula.
