For the first time since the Six Day War, artillery is shot at the town of Beit Shean, situated ten kilometers away from the border with Jordan. A volley of Katyusha rockets injured eight of the town residents, and electricity infrastructures sustained damages. After the incident, the wounded civilians receive medical treatment at a hospital, while Border Police officers patrol the Beit Shean Valley.
