Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Levi Eshkol lands at the Lod Airport upon his return from a visit to the United States as the first Israeli Prime Minister invited to the White House. On his landing, Eshkol disembarks his plane accompanied by his wife Miriam and is greeted at a formal ceremony. Deputy Prime Minister Abba Eban, Foreign Minister Golda Meir, and Speaker of the Knesset Kadish Luz shake his hand. Eshkol inspects a guard of honor and delivers a speech.
