Former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett has died in Jerusalem. Archive footage depicts his public career, including his speech as Israels first Foreign Minister to the UN General Assembly, and his meetings with leaders in Israel and around the world. Moshe Sharetts coffin is displayed in the National Institutions Square in Jerusalem in the presence of President Zalman Shazar, Prime Minister Levi Eshkol, ministers, and citizens who pay their last respects to Sharett. The funeral procession passes through Binyenei Hauma in Jerusalem and from there to the streets of Tel Aviv, to the Trumpeldor Cemetery in the city. At the funeral, a guard of honor of the military police is held, and Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and President of the World Zionist Organization Nahum Goldman throw dirt in the grave.
