Representatives of the Communist parties abroad and the diplomatic staff of the Soviet Unions Embassy in Israel try to mediate between the Communist Party factions in Israel, following the ideological rift in the party. Following the intervention, a split is avoided between the Mikunis-Sneh group and the Vilner-Toubi group. The party conferences planned in Tel Aviv and Haifa are postponed and instead rallies are held. Finally, new elections for Maki are agreed upon. The episode depicts the conference in Tel Aviv at the Mugrabi Cinema, where Shmuel Mikunis speaks, followed by the Haifa conference, where Tawfik Toubi speak at the rally. Eventually, the rift overcomes the Israeli Communist Party, and the new Rakah party (Toubi-Vilner group) will split from the Maki party (Mikunis-Sneh group) in August 1965.
