Magen David Adom Prize ceremony (named after Dr. Meshulam Levontin) where awards go to a man and a girl who saved civilian lives: Mordechai Maimon from Lod who saved a boy who fell into a pit, and the girl Carmella Eliyahu from the Maabara Shoshanat Haamakim, who saved her siblings from a fire which broke in the shack where they were sleeping. Moshe Frankel, the national treasurer of Magen David Adom and one of the founders of the organization, awards the winners with the prizes, who in turn delivers a speech to the audience attending the ceremony.
