New York Mayor Vincent Richard Impellitteri lands in Israel, accompanied by his wife. A large crowd greets them at the airport, Impellitteri waves to the crowd. The couple enters a limousine and drives in a procession of cars to Prime Minister David Ben-Gurions home, where they all meet for a conversation. On Mount Herzl, Impellitteri places a wreath on Herzls grave and another wreath for the fallen heroes of Jerusalem. Impellitteri receives a copy of the Declaration of Independence. Impellitteri and his entourage arrive in Nazareth and participate in a tour guided by clergymen of an archaeological excavation and visit the Church of the Annunciation. Mrs. Impellitteri receives flowers and the couple inspect the honor guard.
