The Israeli Industry Exhibition in Haifa. The exhibition presents various industrial plants from the public and private sectors. Haifa Mayor Abba Hushi opens the exhibition in a speech to the audience. Thousands of visitors walk through the displays of the various Israeli factories, including Amisragas, Shell Chemicals, and Mobilgas. Visitors line up for a display of Kal-Kar foam polystyrene products. Girls raise a large stone made of polystyrene in the air. A large group watches a potter making pottery on a wheelbarrow. Osem, Assis, Vita, and Tempo are exhibiting their products in the food department of the exhibition. In the electronics department, visitors pass between displays of fans, radios, gramophones, and ovens. Children walk around in an exhibition of giant statues devoted to industry. The exhibition ends with a fireworks display.
