The life story of Nazi officer, Adolph Eichmann, his involvement in a range of war crimes, and point-of-view on the Final Solution as they all emerge in two journals he had kept – the first, written whilst he was still in hiding in Argentina and the second, in his Israeli holding cell. Relying on interviews and a host of archive material – mostly taken from the journals – the film offers an almost unfettered look inside the mind of one of the main architects of the Final Solution, and the way in which he perceived the chain of events that led to the murder of six million Jews.
