The first ever Hebrew animated film whose full title is The Adventures of Gadi Ben Sossi who is Arduously Looking for Work and whom the Good Lord Blesses with Miracles and Wonders, follows the story of one Gadi Ben Sossi – a young Yemeni man in search of work and a living wage in Tel Aviv. The film is a silent animated comedy whose drawings were made by cartoonist, Arieh Navon. The rhyming verse subtitles were penned by author Avigdor Hameiri.
