Twenty years after first capturing their lives on camera in part one of Good Morning Israel, filmmaker Amir Har-Gil reunites with his five protagonists for the third time. In this latest instalment, contrary to the previous two, the director – complete with his own his ambitions, dreams, and doubts – is also a character in the film. Through Har-Gil himself, and his subjects – the boys who are now all grown men and the bond that they share, the film delves into all the changes in the five protagonists’ lives, and in Israeli society, as a whole.
