A new settlement established in the Ge’aton Regional Council in Galilee: Moshav Oshrat. The film documents the accelerated construction and development efforts to build the new settlement, as well as the groundbreaking ceremony, during which speeches were delivered by: Minister of Housing and Construction David Levy, Knesset member Amos Hadar, head of the Settlement Department and Secretary General of the Moshavim Movement, and Avraham (Bunio) Ronen, head of the Ge’aton Regional Council. In the evening, a central celebratory assembly was held to commemorate 100 years since the immigration of Yemenite Jews, who settled in the nearby village of Amka and are set to inhabit the new settlement. The evening was accompanied by an artistic program featuring traditional dances and music, celebrating the rich heritage of Yemenite Jews, along with stories of their immigration to Israel.
