A short film produced as part of the project “Israeli Archive for Painting and Sculpture” for filmed documentation of Israeli artists.
The film presents the work of Baruch Tzipori, an Israeli painter born in France. Born into a Haredi family, Tzipori’s paintings reflect the influence of the rich Jewish imagery he absorbed from childhood. The artist is documented alongside his works in his studio and gallery, as well as while painting near the coastline of Netanya, the city where he resides.
