Excerpt from the film Work of Art, produced by the Film Service in collaboration with the Ministry of Education – Culture Department, which tells of an association of older women who do not work, in the Beit Shemesh area, who learn the craft of knitting small woolen squares from a guide who comes once a week from the city. Women from different backgrounds come to this gathering and the connection formed between them is a wonderful by-product of the work of thought. From the wool squares, fashionable clothes can be designed, even though it is a work that characterized strata from a low socioeconomic class.
