A documentary by Mikhail Kalik, responding to a long-neglected letter from his friend Venyamin Garechev who, like Kalik, aspired to make Aliyah to Israel but faced insurmountable obstacles. Upon learning of Garechev’s passing, Kalik decides to finally reply to the letter in a movie, painting a vivid picture of life in Israel for himself and their mutual friends who have resettled there.
