A documentary tracing the development of the Israel Electric Corporation from its early days to its 50th anniversary. Through the story of Pinhas Rutenberg, the company’s founder, the film explores the establishment of power stations in Tel Aviv, Naharayim, Haifa, Ashdod, and Eilat. Past and present employees recount the challenges they faced—from building the first stations during the Arab Revolt under great danger to expanding the electricity network across the country, including Gaza. The film highlights the efforts and innovations that shaped the corporation into a key pillar of Israel’s economy.
