A documentary film produced as part of the project “Israeli Archive for Painting and Sculpture – Documentation in Films”, with the assistance of the art critic Rivka Kaznelson.
“In her travels abroad, she painted houses, alleys, gardens, and landscapes, in a lyrical expression that was her hallmark.” The life story and selected paintings of the Hungarian-Israeli artist Luiza Wilhelm-Hoffman. The painter, a recipient of the Nordau Prize, exhibited her works in exhibitions from the age of 11, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, where she managed to escape from the Nazis, and immigrated to Israel in 1950.
