A short documentary film focusing on the activities of the Greek Catholic community in Israel. The film covers the community’s institutions, religious and educational life, and includes interviews with its spiritual leaders and public figures. The film opens with footage from St. Elijah Cathedral in Haifa, where Archimandrite Maximos Salloum discusses the growth of the Greek Catholic population from the Ottoman period to the present day. Later, Archbishop Youssef Raya is seen in a religious ceremony and delivering a speech. In Nazareth, an interview with Knesset member Elias Nakhleh is followed by coverage of life at St. Joseph Ecclesiastical Seminary (“Al-Mutran”), including an interview with Archimandrite Basilium Laham. The film also presents community aid institutions such as an orphanage in Haifa, a nursing home in Isfiya, and leisure activities like music, singing, and sewing. Finally, Archimandrite Nathaniel Shakhaada is seen at the Synagogue Church in Nazareth.
