A clip of an English-speaking film produced on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism, which appeals to an international audience of potential investors interested in investing in the Israeli tourism industry. The film reviews the growth in tourism in the country over the years, and the governments’ plans to encourage investments in tourism by defining designated investment areas for the construction of hotels around the country. The following clip offers an overview of the tourism potential in Eilat and the Sinai territories occupied during the Six Day War, in which an Israeli hotel industry developed in the post-war years. Sites such as Taba, Nuweiba (referred to as Neviot), Dahab (referred to as Di-Zahav), Naama Bay and Sharm el-Sheikh (referred to as Ofira) are reviewed, including tourist bungalows in a characteristic 70s style and design (Directed and written by Ram Ron, production by Yigal Ephrati and Matti Rabban).
