A public service announcement produced by the Israeli Film Service for the Extension Service and the Vocational Training Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and the “Keren L’Mishkei Ezer Ve’Pituach HaNof HaYarok” company.
Before planting a tree for ornamental purposes, shade, or edible fruit, thought should be given to it, as a tree in the wrong place may grow and block a path, create dirt, or damage power poles or infrastructure. A carefully selected tree, with the assistance of the Department for Village Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture in the Ministry of Agriculture, will allow you to enjoy it without the disadvantages that may arise without prior planning.
