A documentary about young people in Israel, produced by Histadrut’s Culture and Education Center.
What concerns Israel’s youngsters in the beginning of the 70s? Some are eager to find a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while others are tired of arguing; some study in a vocational school and earn their own living, while others seek answers for life’s questions in the department of philosophy; some devote their leisure time to karate, and others to music. But it seems that they all feel like they face new challenges, which their parents did not encounter. With a series of interviews with high school and university students and young couples, this film portrays a picture of the Israeli youth. Participants include the members of the high school rock band Motti Dichne and the Skulls and their schoolmates; Shora and Hillel, a young couple building their new home; Danny, an architecture student in a vocational school; and Varda, a student and kibbutz member.
