In Manhattan, widow of former President of the United States Eleanor Roosevelt cuts the ribbon at the entrance to a branch of Israel Discount Bank and Mayor Robert F. Wagner Jr. opens the buildings doors, created by Israeli sculpturer Nathan Rapoport. Manager of the branch Raphael Recanati escorts them. 2000 invitees attend a party at the place. Workers of the bank lock its large safe.
