A state memorial service is held at the Presidents Residence in Jerusalem to honor Zeev Jabotinsky on the 20th anniversary of his death. Present are president Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, Knesset Spokesman Kadish Luz, Minister of Agriculture Moshe Dayan, Chairman of Herut Menachem Begin, Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and his wife Paula Ben-Gurion, Prof. Eri Jabotinsky son of the late Jabotinsky, President of the Supreme Court, Yitzhak Olshan who was a volunteer of the Jewish Legion established by Zeev Jabotinsky, Knesset Member Dr. Aryeh Altman, head of the Revisionist movement, Menachem Arber of the founders of the Betar movement and member of the Irgun, Yitzhak Gruenbaum, Yigael Yadin, Tel Avivs Chief Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman and more. Members of the Jewish Legion recall their acquaintance with Jabotinsky, and his son, Prof. Eri Jabotinsky, thanks the President for the memorial service.
