The Stern House in the Mamilla neighborhood of Jerusalem was saved from demolition by the municipality as part of the neighborhood renewal project. The house served as the hostel of Benjamin Zeev Herzl during his visit to Jerusalem in 1898 and later became a museum. Following a protest by the Stern family, this house will not be demolished.
