The discovery of defective frozen meat leads to veterinary tests. A veterinarian committee examines frozen meat samples, which will be sent for laboratory testing. In Holons Tempo refrigeration house, a forklift loads a bag of frozen meat in the warehouse. About 2000 tonnes of frozen meat are stored in Tempos refrigerators, most of them from South America and some from Hungary and Romania. The meat that its quality is questionable was imported to Israel by cargo ship from Argentina and Uruguay, and presumably dates to last years slaughter. Minister of Trade and Industry Zeev Sherf announces the appointing of a committee to investigate the case, and examine the storage and inspection procedures of frozen meat in Israel.
