A film produced by the Hasbarah Center. Following the paving of the Sdom Road, allowing phosphates to be brought up easily from the Dea Sea mining site to the Negev Plateau, plans were made for the paving of a road south. Laborers head out of the work camp in the morning, riding bulldozers, to break up rocks, flatten the terrain and pave. Night brings a shower, a meal and a game of Rummy. The following day: work resumes and Suleiman, the dynamite man, removes a hill in a single blow. In conclusion we see footage of the port of Eilat, the road’s ultimate destination
