A short informational film produced by the Israel Film Service for the Ministry of Agriculture showcases the blurring boundaries between agriculture, industry, and science in modern Israel. Who is the agriculturist of tomorrow? What is required of the farmer in the ever-developing world? The film follows the work of the agriculturist, from planning crops in the field to distributing the produce around the world. To succeed, agriculturists need to be familiar with the latest research in biological engineering, animal and plant health, and local and global market analysis. The Ministry of Agriculture assists farmers by organizing periodic training courses and providing field training to keep up with the latest innovations. Thus, the agriculturist of tomorrow is an agriculturist who knows how to update themselves each day.
