An excerpt from Hevrat HaOvdim, a corporate film that describes the activities of Histadruts company of the same name.
Subject to Hevrat HaOvdim’s rules, its subsidiaries Telkoor and Telrad must operate according to the principles of cooperative governance. Workers of both phone companies talk about their social benefits. A Telkoor worker is entitled to a late start to her workday, so she can take her children to kindergarten. Telrad worker Dan Amitay says: the factory I work in may not pay the worlds highest wages, but it cares for the individual.
