A documentary film produced by the Israel Film Service.
In the new neighborhood of Neve Ya’akov on the outskirts of Jerusalem live side by side young Israeli “tzabar” couples and immigrant families from the Commonwealth of Independent States. They are compelled to live together despite the differences in language and culture, which might seem alien to each other and sometimes irreconcilable. The film shows the lives of the residents – the immigrants from Bukhara and Georgia and the “Zabrs” – adults and children, in building No. 23 in the Neve Ya’akov neighborhood.
