Documentation of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Levi Eshkol’s visit to the village of Tayibe, produced by the Israel Film Service with Arabic narration. Eshkol arrived by helicopter and addressed approximately 3,000 residents of Tayibe and the surrounding area. The head of the Tayibe Council, Abdul Rahim Haj Yahya, opened the event by thanking the Prime Minister for his visit. He was followed by Knesset members Diyab Obeid and Halil-Salim Jabara, as well as the head of the Baka al-Gharbiya Council, Faras Hamdan, and the head of the Tira Local Council, Ibrahim Khalil Kassem. The speeches concluded with Police Minister Bechor-Shalom Sheetrit, who accompanied the visit. In his speech, Eshkol emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing the rights of all Arab citizens of Israel and outlined its policies toward them in the country.
