A short documentary film, produced by the Israeli Film Service on the 30th anniversary of Kibbutz Hanita.
One of Hanitas founders, who had moved to the city, visits the Northern kibbutz three decades after its establishment. Together with veteran kibbutz member Shaike Scharfberg, the guest takes a tour of Hanita and beholds the changes it went through. Archive footage from the kibbutzs establishment day (in a 1938 Tower and Stockade operation) and clips from 1968 are shown in the film alternately.
(Director: Nathan Axelrod; producers: Yigal Ephrati and Avraham Shalev; editor: Lea Axelrod; cinematographers: Nissim Kobo and Alex Ben Dor; narrator: Yaakov Ben Herzl; scriptwriters: Nathan Axelrod and Asher Reich)
