Kibbutz Givat Brenner was established under difficult conditions and in a hostile environment. From these challenging beginnings arose a magnificent place, which is now the largest kibbutz in Israel.
The film was produced for the 40th anniversary of the kibbutz, showcasing significant moments from its early days alongside a portrayal of contemporary, modern life within the community. This included the hard work of the members in the kibbutz’s branches and enterprises, social sports competitions, gatherings and discussions, as well as frequent visits by the members to the abundant local supermarket and the fashionable ladies’ hairdresser.
