A full-length film directed by Asher Tlalim, continuing the storyline of the series "Meeting in the Desert," which aired on television.
Actor Julian Chagrin, playing himself, receives an urgent phone call regarding his two children – they have gone missing in the jungle in Brazil during a trip. Anxious and helpless after failing to buy plane tickets, he travels to the Judean Desert in an attempt to calm down. In the desert, he remembers how eight years ago he got lost there with his children until they were rescued by members of the Jahalin tribe, with whom they formed a special bond, an adventure described in the series "Meeting in the Desert." He decides to search for Khalil, the boy from the Jahalin tribe who has now become a man, and along the way discovers how much Bedouin life in the Negev has changed during this time and the clash between Bedouin culture and modern life.
