Cargal Packing Factory. Women working in a citrus fruit packaging plant. Cargo fruit crates made by Cargal are loaded onto ships in the port. The company also produces special cardboard boxes for live chicks. Chick boxes are loaded onto an EL AL plane. Dozens of guests gather for the cornerstone ceremony for the new Cargal plant. Factory owner Sam Dubiner signs the Foundation Scroll of the new plant and industrial minister Pinchas Sapir puts the Scroll in a ground pit. Guests cover the pit with dirt. The Cargal plant exports its products to Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and African countries.
