Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion lands at Lod Airport, where he is greeted by government ministers, IDF General Staff officers, an honor guard, journalists, and others. As he disembarks from the plane, he is approached by his wife Paula, Minister Moshe Sharett, and Chief of Staff Yigal Yadin. After reviewing the honor guard, the Prime Minister approached the large crowd that greeted him. Upon leaving the airport, a car with an open roof awaited, into which the Prime Minister and his wife got in, together with Moshe Sharett, and waved goodbye to the crowd as they drove away.
The first football game was held at Ramat Gan Stadium on May 30, 1951, between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Dundee United of Scotland.
