On the 26th of Elul, 5742 (1983), Rosh Pinna celebrated 100 years since the first settlers established their homes there. As part of the centennial year events, an alumni reunion was held at the school, followed by a visit to the graves of the first settlers in the cemetery. There was also a tour of the city, of the first houses and the new ones that had just been built. An exhibition on the history of the Galilee settlements was held in the restored PICA House. At a conference held for graduates of the Betar platoons, the head of the council, Zvi Reski, spoke, followed by an evening of communal singing. The central event of the celebrations was a large rally that opened with speeches by a representative of the Ministry of Interior, Israel Koenig, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yitzhak Shamir, and the play “3 Springs in the Rock” was performed, telling the story of the city and the history of the settlement.
