The third installment in a series of short skits produced for the Ministry of Health and the Department of Health Education by the Israel Film Service. Adam and Eve, the first humans who were cast out of the Garden of Eden, receive a second chance to return and live there, but the Serpent (portrayed by Lior Alon) still lurks and attempts to tempt them away from righteousness and away from the healthy lifestyle available to them in Paradise. In this episode, Eve has a nightmare where the Serpent, decked out as a terrifying dentist, threatens to pull her teeth out with a menacing pair of pliers. When she awakens in horror, Adam reassures her that she doesn’t need to worry about pulled teeth and dentures, since the water in the Garden contains fluoride, they enjoy several balanced meals a day, and as long as they make sure they brush their teeth every morning and every night, they should be safe. In a last-ditch attempt to trick Eve, the Serpent offers her a candied apple; she almost takes the bait, but in the end, Eve resists the temptation and shoves the apple into the Serpent’s mouth.
