This press conference took place at the end of an official visit of Prime Minister, Itzhak Rabin to Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Mayor, Ehud Olmert honors Rabin with a gift on behalf of the city of Jerusalem, and then the Prime Minister speaks and answers questions from journalists. Rabin says that Jerusalem will stay united, and when asked what will be its borders he replied: When I talk about united Jerusalem I’m referring to the government decision in July 1967 and to the Jerusalem Law that was legislated in the Knesset in 1981 or 1982. These are the municipal borders of united Jerusalem. I act according to the law. This is what I meant”.
