Episode 6 of a series of educational clips about traffic safety, produced by the Ministry of Transport and the National Council for Accident Prevention. Each episode opens with a brief, humorous cartoon illustrating the subject of the clip, starring the Traffic Safety Mouse – a character adapted from a German cartoon from the 1970s titled “Die Sendung mit der Maus” (“The Program with the Mouse”). This episode features some children riding their scooters in a yard, until one boy who doesn’t have a scooter decides to forcibly take one away from another child. When he manages to steal it, he quickly rides it away to the street, fleeing the other kids, who are now chasing him – but since he’s going so fast, he rides straight into the road and encounters an oncoming vehicle. The clip reminds viewers that it is mandatory to stop near the curb separating the road from the sidewalk.
