A short film based on the children’s song by Kadia Molodowsky, produced by Sdot Films and Kibbutz Movement Alliance.
It tells the story of a girl named Dina, whose eyes slowly become slanted, and suddenly she starts speaking Chinese. The song was translated from Yiddish by Nathan Alterman and published in Molodowsky’s collection of translated poems, “Open the Gate”.
