A documentary produced by the Israeli Film Service.
In his youth and without his family, Abraham Ofek, a new immigrant from Bulgaria, moved to live in Kibbutz Ein HaMifratz. There, he began studying art with Ariyeh Rothman. ‘It was clear from the beginning that he was an artist,’ recalls Rothman. Three years after Ofek’s death, his friends summarize his successful career as a painter and sculptor.
Alongside well-known artists and intellectuals, the film also features Ofek’s daughter, Talma, and Yossi Sharvit.
