Storks fly over Hiriya Park, Israel’s center’s large landfill, while the St. George’s Church in Jaffa emerges from the background. The blues plays as if to the rhythm of the garbage trucks’ movement, which brings the waste of the Dan area to the park. There are quite a few treasures among the garbage, and the particularly worthy ones amidst them find a new life and are put up for sale in the Jaffa flea market. Around the Clock is a series created by Boris Mafzir, produced for the Israel Film Service as part of the creative incubator for up-and-coming immigrant filmmakers.
