How is a newspaper created? This video shows the hectic daily activities of the newspaper editors, who try to keep up with the daily flood of news to keep their readers informed every morning. On the day the film was shot, soccer player Nikolai Kudritsky was killed in a car accident, and the editors are trying to figure out how to formulate the story. The lively lives of the journalists turn out to be full of tension and excitement when at their center is their commitment to providing news to the reading public. Around the Clock is a series created by Boris Mafzir, produced for the Israel Film Service as part of the creative incubator for up-and-coming immigrant filmmakers.
